SO, every once in awhile I get into an arts and crafts projects. I kept seeing denim embellished jeans (mostly pearl) all over Insta "Influencers" & contemporary brands pages's. I start browsing around for embellished jeans that won't break the bank*. As someone that has worked in denim industry, I know that the more embellishments, the more rips, the more destroyed, higher the price. A lot of people think that since the jeans are ripped it is cheaper, however, those type of jeans need to spend more time in the wash and in pre production, therefore price goes up.
Eventually, I think to myself, "this looks easy enough to do myself" and I def have some jeans I never wear or that are a bit less expensive (Free People makes great jeans are they're usually around $68). I start doing some research on Pinterest and ShopStyle and noticed some of the jeans have pearls everywhere, some just on one leg, and some only at the bottom.
I decided to do just one side similar to:
Anyone that knows me knows how much i LOVE Amazon, I was able to get everything needed (minus the jeans) for under $20 on Amazon.com
You can even make a girls night of it with wine and holiday movies in the background!

As you can see the glue dries clear. Wait at least 24 hours before trying them on and 7-10 days before washing! |
